The Current Status of Refugee Rights in Korea and Key Issues in the Revision of the Refugee Act

Greetings from NANCEN, a refugee rights organization based in South Korea. We recently had the opportunity to produce a video on the current situation of refugees and key issues in refugee law in South Korea. The video examines the trends and limitations of the South Korean government's refugee protection policies, as well as key concerns regarding regressive amendments to the Refugee Act. We hope you will take an interest in the video. The production of this video was supported by the Heinrich Böll Foundation's East Asia Regional Office. We hope this exchange will serve as an opportunity to share more experiences of refugee protection and stories of change from across Asia.
